In the summer time the local parks put on an art in the park sort of thing for local kids!  It's free and not really extra special, but they bring a jump house, and the kids have a blast!  Other moms we know bring their kids and join us in the fun!  This day we found a "fairy wing" which inspired me to draw a picture!  It was lot's of fun imagining with my girls!
